New Bracelet to Benefit Colorectal Cancer Treatment
Bracelet Commemorates 8th Annual “Paulette’s C of Blue” 5K Run
RED BANK, NJ, March 22nd, 2017 – Oriana Lamarca Designs of Red Bank, NJ, a fashion accessory company founded in 2011 by designer Oriana Lamarca. To commemorate the 8th Annual “Paulette’s C of Blue” 5K Fun Run, Lamarca created a one-of-a-kind bracelet in honor of marathon runner and stage 4 rectal cancer survivor Paulette Stallone of Manalapan, New Jersey. Mrs Stallone recently celebrated 7 years cancer free. She uses her experience to help make a difference in her community through her colorectal cancer support group at CentraState and her annual fundraising run. She is gearing up for her 8th Annual Paulette Steps Toward Cancer Wellness 5K Run/1 Mile Fitness Walk which benefits the CentraState Medical Center Colorectal Cancer treatment programs.
Designer Lamarca loves any opportunity to give back to the community. When her client Nicole Stallone contacted her for a donation to help her mother, she immediately wanted to create something special in honor of her that would not only raise funds but create a bond and memories for all those who will be running along side Paulette that day.
Lamarca discussed her concept with the family to ensure the bracelet represented Paulette’s fight from diagnosis to recovery. Lamarca selected a blue fire agate, which is a multi shaded blue gemstone bead, paired with a gold pave anchor pendant. “I instantly fell in love with the gemstone as it encompasses shades of dark blue representing her power and courage to fight her battle as well as shades of light blue, associated with health, healing and tranquility as she
recovers and helps others that have also been affected” the designer said. Paulette wanted something that symbolized her hope and strength so Lamarca suggested a pave anchor pendant. “I love everything about this bracelet from its design and purpose, to the beautiful person it was designed for. I can’t wait to see “Paulette’s C of Blue” army beside her on race day!” said Lamarca.

About the Event
The 8th annual colorectal cancer 5K Mile/Kid’s Fun Run “Paulette’s C of Blue” event will be held on Sunday, May 7th at CentraState Medical Center in Freehold NJ, rain or shine. Last year, over 420 people attended the event and raised over $45,000.
It is a day of family fun, children’s activities, local vendors, food, awards, fitness, and hope for the community. The entry fee is $20 per person until April 24th and $25 after.
